CRISP is a specialist Australian Insurance program for the Community sector – in fact, yours is the only sector we service!
The Community sector has very different insurance needs to the Corporate sector. Unless you’re insured through a not for profit insurance specialist, your organisation may not be properly covered for all eventualities, as our scenarios demonstrate.
In response to a growing need for affordable and appropriate insurance policies for the not for profit sector, NSW Meals on Wheels developed an insurance program which commenced in 1989. Originally the participants in the program were mainly Meals on Wheels Services and community transport groups and numbered approximately 200.
Now the program, called CRISP (Community Related Insurance and Superannuation Program), is becoming the pre-eminent national insurance program for the community sector, offering the stability and value of a large scheme combined with sector-specific products and services.
It is supported entirely by the Australian owned and licensed insurers and Calliden Limited. Both these insurers are fully approved by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
Our program includes important benefits not available through other providers in the market.
