What being a Member of the Meals on Wheels NSW means
Members of the Meals on Wheels NSW are local service providers and are provided with access to our training, conferences, information, advice, advocacy and other direct support services and resources. A major benefit of membership is the effective representation of members’ views and concerns to government policy and decision makers. Staff and elected Board members also contribute on behalf of member services to state and national forums addressing issues relevant to ageing, disability, carers, volunteers, workforce development and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.

Network Support
As well as advocacy and representation, the organisation provides direct support to member services through its staff and projects. Network Support Officers are available to assist committees with the management issues affecting their service.

Network Support includes facilitation or participation in regional Food Forums to share information with member services. A forum is held in every region of NSW and is a valuable way of connecting with other food services.
