Margaret and James have lived in their own home in the Southern Highlands for 20 years. James was always the gardener and the cook, while Margaret managed her homewares store. Their garden is a combination of old and new and always brightens up their day.
Meals on Wheels enables them to tend to their garden now they are retired and they receive delivered meals by friendly volunteers three times per week. Margaret said "It takes me about 4-5 minutes to get dinner. It's what I love and it's delicious when I get it."
We were saddened by the loss of James since filming this video. Our thoughts are with Margaret and her family and friends at this difficult time.
