Home Care Packages

Meals on Wheels is the meals provider of choice for Home Care Package clients.

As part of your Home Care Package your Home Care Support worker may come to your home and prepare a meal for you.

Did you know the cost of a support worker purchasing supplies and cooking one meal for you could cover the cost of a week's supply of meals delivered by your local Meals on Wheels that come with a smile and a chat, leaving more in your package for other services. 
 
If you are currently receiving Meals on Wheels as part of your Commonwealth Home Support Programme and are transitioning to a Home Care Package, you are able to take your Meals on Wheels service over to your Home Care Package with you, this is your choice to make. Please talk to your Home Care Package provider or if you feel that you need support in requesting meals, please contact your local Meals on Wheels service provider.
Meals on Wheels meals are available to Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Clients, Home Care Package (HCP) Clients, and in some areas, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clients and full fee Clients.

Meals on Wheels has no waiting list and there are no contracts! We are also here to help with My Aged Care registration if required.
