Our Menu Volunteer
Social Support
Purpose: Our aim is to reduce isolation in our community. We provide assistance to frail aged people, 65 years plus, or 50 years plus if you are from of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island heritage, and younger people with a disability to maintain links with their community. 

Activities: Group functions and individual outings (subject to volunteer availability).

Catchment Area: From the Tweed Border, south to Pottsville and west to Terranora and Bilambil.

Cost: the usual cost is $22.00 per outing for both mixed groups and Men's days. Special events may cost more and we will advise this prior to the outing.

If you are receiving Meals on Wheels from Tweed Community Support you are eligible to join us on our Social Support outings. Come along and have some fun.
