Become a volunteer

Our volunteers play a vital role in our organisation, helping with everything from delivering meals to people's homes to assisting on the packing line. Some volunteers are able to complete administrative tasks, or working with the board of management, or even helping with regional meal deliveries that go to other Meals on Wheels services. No matter what an individual can offer, their contribution is invaluable and helps to create a more vibrant, happier and healthier community. We’re always looking for new members to join our team, apply today.

Volunteer Roles

Meal Delivery Drivers

deliver meals to individuals in the Bathurst and Oberon local government areas.

Delivery Truck Drivers

deliver meals to other Meals on Wheels Services within 3 hours of Bathurst (requires a car licence only).

Meal Packaging

plate prepared food ready for delivery.

Board of Management

assist in the governance of the organisation.

Administration

assist with administrative tasks, including speaking to clients over the phone, data entry and filing.
