ROLES

Volunteers are crucial to the operation of Wollongong Meals on Wheels. They are the lifeblood of our organisation and we depend heavily on their support. The volunteers drive the cars and deliver the meals, transport clients to our Social Days. Assist in preparing meals and kitchen work, conduct social activities and assist on outings.

People who volunteer at Wollongong Meals on Wheels are offered a mileage reimbursement when using their own vehicle, as well as free training sessions. We host several social events during the year, including an annual volunteer event. Our volunteers are dedicated, friendly people who make a difference in their community.
