Who is eligible for Meals on Wheels?
Meals on Wheels is not means tested and is a service geared to the needs of older people as well as people with disability.

How much do meals cost?
Every effort is made to keep meals as affordable as possible. The meals range from $6.50 to $8.00 for a main meal and $3 for a dessert.

The generosity of our volunteers, who give their time to help deliver the meals, means we are able to provide a vital service at an economical price EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR.

What does ‘More than just a meal’ mean?
Although delivery of prepared meals is the basis of the service, Meals on Wheels is so much more than just a meal. We are about ensuring people who may not be able to get out and about enjoy regular social interaction and the comfort of knowing someone will drop by regularly to say hello and see how they are.

I have a NDIS Plan/ Home Care Package. How can you assist me?

How can I support Coonamble Meals on Wheels?
As a not for profit community organisation, we welcome support in a variety of forms. We are always seeking support from community members who wish to volunteer their time to work with us, as well as financial donations and bequests.
