NSW Meals on Wheels

Our team

Coonamble Meals on Wheels is managed by paid staff and overseen by a community based volunteer committee. We have nearly 100 volunteers, 2 paid staff, around 120 clients and deliver approximately 550 meals a month.

The Coonamble Meals on Wheels team is passionate about providing a quality service to all clients, ensuring it meets the needs of the many locals with which it interacts, delivers to and supports each and every day. The Coonamble Meals on Wheels team is a group of committed local people, with a combined wealth of knowledge and many years’ experience. It works closely with all volunteers to ensure the best service is provided throughout Coonamble Meals on Wheels.

The team is proud to be supported by an experienced Board of volunteer committee members.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We are proud to have a committed volunteer base of approximately 100 people who service the Coonamble Shire. Our volunteers provide us with a valuable service that we can’t do without. They offer support and wellness checks to our clients to enable them to live more independent lives.
