AM I ELIGIBLE?

If you are a Commonwealth Home Support Programme or NDIS client you are eligible to order meals from Coonamble Meals on Wheels. We provide a meal delivery for anyone looking for a healthy, delicious, cost-effective meal service.

Coonamble Meals on Wheels provides meal delivery specifically for Coonamble seniors, people with a disability who are eligible for a Government funded service. To be eligible for these services, you must reside in the Coonamble area and meet at least one of the following criteria:

 

• Aged 65 years or over
• Aged 50 years or over and identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
• Have a registered disability

 

HOW DO I REGISTER?

If you are 65 years or over (or 50 years or over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders), we require a referral from the government organisation, My Aged Care. To be referred to Coonamble Meals on Wheels, please call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or visit the My Aged Care website by clicking here. Alternatively, we can simply arrange the referral on your behalf. Call us at the office on 6822 2277 to make an appointment and we will go through the process together. We can commence our service to you immediately if needed.
