Specific Responsibilities to the Role:
Assemble meals for consumers ensuring their dietary requirements are met while maintaining accurate food inventories, temperature, and weight.
Ensure all plating processes associated with meal line production, including cleaning, and sanitizing of all food preparation areas after each use to avoid cross contamination are met.
Ensure and comply that the completion of established documentation of Food Safety Requirements and Infection Control Principles are met. (Conformance Sheets, Temperature Log Form, Pre-operational Check Form, Thermometer Calibration and Pest Control Form).
Take hold of deliveries and complete Incoming Goods register, store and rotate all stock as per established procedures when required.
Ensure all stock levels are refilled, cleaning items (example, hand towels, bench wipes, sanitisers and detergents)
Ensure all products are recovered and dated, for cooked foods, frozen and dry goods when opened.
Comply with the use of personal protective equipment.
Assist in other work areas if required, helping the kitchen and the dishwasher assistant as directed by the Plating supervisor.
Ensure all assigned workplace areas and items have been cleaned and sanitised and recorded as per the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cleaner’s schedule
Report maintenance issues as identified and implement hazard controls as necessary.
Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all products used.
Other duties as required by the Plating Supervisor or Manager within the competency of the staff member.
