Ingredients
- 500g sliced peaches
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- Juice of 1/4 lemon
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
CRUMBLE
- 1/3 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 50g softened butter
- 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 300ml custard, for serving
Method
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 180°C (190°C for conventional oven).
- In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add butter and using fingertips, rub mixture until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Lastly fold in the rolled oats.
- Place peaches and juices into a large baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the peaches and press down slightly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until topping is golden.
- Serve warm with custard.
